The Q-Batterires lithium accumulators with lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO4) are extremely cycle- resistant and versatile batteries. Compared to other lead-acid battery types, lithium-ion batteries are significantly lighter and have a longer service life. There is no danger of explosion even under extreme conditions or in case of misuse, as the innovative cell technology offers high operational reliability, long shelf life and wide temperature ranges. For capacities of 75Ah and above, the batteries have a Bluetooth interface and can be monitored in real time on a cell phone or tablet via an Android app. Whether state of charge, temperature developement or charge/discharge performance - the app offers it´s users a detailed insight into the status of their battery.
Only special chargers may be used for charging Li-Ion batteries. The charger must guarantee a constant charging current and a constant final charging voltage and switch itself off accordingly, as a trickle charge would damage the Li-ion batteries and destroy them over time.
